Man Shocked to Learn That His Printer Can Print Every Color Imaginable Reuters, March 20 Jason Darlon, a local small business owner, recently bought an Epson Stylus R1800 photo printer after he was intrigued by an ad he saw on the internet claiming that the printer could "print every color imaginable" Immediately upon seeing this, Jason exclaimed to his wife, Barbara, "There's no way that this thing can manage that. I'm sure I can imagine a color this machine can't handle." Barbara said to reporters that her initial response was "Faith in my husband's abilities, but tempered by my appreciation for new technology." Jason ordered the printer on Amazon.com and received it three days later. He said, "When I first saw that box, I was so excited. I was just dying to open that box and come up with a color that it couldn't deal with." After spending an hour connecting the printer to his Desktop, Jason poured himself a cup of tea and started thinking about colors. "My first try was Yellow-Green," said Jason. "I used Paint to make little colored circles, and then printed them out. I was a little disappointed to find that the printer was able to match it perfectly, but I was by no means discouraged." Over the next two hours, Jason tried many color combinations, including Magenta-Orange, Red-White-Turquoise, and, "What I was sure would be a winner," Brown-Black-Blue-Dark Blue-Lemon. He was amazed to discover that his printer faithfully reproduced them all. Barbara said, "After Brown-Blue-whatever, Jason began to slow down. I guess he started to lose interest in thinking up new colors, and he seemed very happy to come to the table when I served dinner." The printer is now disconnected at the side of Jason's desk. Jason says that he may try to beat it again one day, but for now is more interested in getting ready for his barbeque this weekend.
