My return to the Hunter-Gatherer way of Life
Or, eating in Boston for 1 month, for free
Too many people nowadays take food for granted. If we want food, we can just go into our kitchen, grab a packet of ramen or easymac, and microwave it, or we could go to a restaurant and shell out a few bucks. This kind of decadent behaviour has made us soft and weak as a people. We need to return to the hunter-grather lifestyle of our ancestors. By introducing uncertainty into our lives with something as fundamental as eating, it forces us to improvise and to live with a constantly changing daily routine that depends on circumstances out of our control.
I'm going for 1 month, starting 9/19/05 without paying any money for food. There are many more interesting things to spend money on than food. I'm going to get food by any way possible, and document it on this page. I am essentially the only caveman currently living in the greater boston area.
